To make a long story short, LOVE my husband of 20 years, LOVE my 2 cool kids, Dylan 16 & Holly 10, LOVE hanging with family and friends, LOVE being a year 2 library media specialist and most importantly, LOVE my Savior & Lord Jesus Christ!
Tomorrow is the end of the 3rd quarter, which means I've been a grading maniac! I'm sure none of you can relate...LOL.
My teacher tip for you has to do with oral presentations. A few weeks ago, my students had a book report that they had to orally present. While I graded their presentations on the rubric, I didn't grade the written report or write comments immediately. So now, 2+ weeks later I couldn't remember the details that I needed to do the grading. Thankfully, I took pics of each child so I was able to look at their picture to jog my memory.
I know the students and their parents have worked hard on these projects so I want to put forth the same time in my grading. I like to write a personalized comment on each rubric-a little more than just "great job".
So my tip for you is to take pictures of your students when they are doing an oral presentation if it includes props of any kind to help you in your grading later!
