I have been an M.I.A. blogger. I don't even have to tell you why, right? S.U.M.M.E.R.
I am just now recovering from the end of school and I think I can slooowly start to do some things for next year. So tonight I started working on my classroom blog. I'm doing a western theme for next year, so of course my blog has to match. As I was playing tonight, I found a feature in blogger that I just had to share with you.
It's a QR code that you can add to your blog so parents can view your blog (in a mobile version) on their smart phone. HOW. COOL. IS. THAT??
Here's the code for my blog:
Go ahead, try it! It will take you right to the mobile version of my classroom blog!
If you have no idea how to do this on your smart phone-go to your app store and find a QR code app. It should be free. Then, using your app, snap a pic of my code and wah-lah!!!
Here's how to get your code on blogger. (Sorry, I don't have visuals. I'm not that advanced, yet :)
1. Go to your
Dashboard.
2. Click on
Settings.
3. Then, click on the tab that says
Email & Mobile.
4. You'll see the QR code. Click
Yes, show mobile template.
5. Then, right click the QR code and
Save Image As wherever you choose to save it.
6. To add it to your page,
Add a Gadget, Then
Add a Picture.
Let me know if you have any questions, or if I can help you in anyway.
