Today's acitivity is called "What's my name?"
Each student received a stick-on name tag labeled with one of the 4 times tables.
All day we are calling each other by our new names. I am "Mrs. 12".
Oh, what fun we had!
{This is also an activity that can be used with any subject matter!}

I am loving your fact practice ideas. I needed some freshening. Can't wait to see what else you have up your sleeve. :)
ReplyDeleteThx Stephanie ! I was beginning to wonder if anyone was reading ! I'll keep it up!
ReplyDeleteHey Kris,
ReplyDeleteI have a favor to ask. Our country is having an inservice on Monday. The second grade teachers at my school was ask to provide ideas for addition and subtraction. With your permission I would like to include the ideas for fact practice that you've included on your blog.
I like the fresh ideas, that I haven't seen before. I would love to able to present them while giving credit to you.
Thanks,
Stephanie

I found your site on Pinterest and I love it! I did this activity with my 3rd grade students today and they had a blast. I had them practice greeting each other by their new names several times throught the day. They had to shake hands and say "Good Afternoon 48." I even invited my principal down and practice with us. It was an awesome day! Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteI saw your post on Pinterest and recognized the PE shirts! I used to teach at CCA! I look forward to reading more!
